Belated (but not unexpected) Panic

Mon Oct 8, 2007, 1:06 AM
  • Mood: Agony
  • Listening to: Sierra Lorna's Phenomenon amv
  • Reading: The Immortal Prince by Jennifer Fallon
  • Watching: Just finished(kinda) Full Metal Panic
  • Playing: nothing T.T
  • Eating: yearning for.... fruit....O.o
  • Drinking: water
Soooo.... I've been leading everyone up to my posting stuff steadily in the holidays.... And now their over.

*bawls* THEY DIDN'T EVEN START PROPERLY THIS TIME!!!!!!! I mean, they started, and I was like "okay, you have 17 days to get ~insert pile of homework~ done." Then, "you have 10...9...6...5...3...SHIT!! 3!!!" And then I started frantically doing Japanese essays like a mad demon. But, I can say in my favour, my laptop (and only functioning computer in the house) was sick, and had been at hospital (poor baby, I made my my Dad check up on him sooo many times...) for pretty much the whole holidays minus the first weekend (which isn't REALLY part of the holidays, just the weekend of the last week....) and the last three days.
And my UTTERLY SADISTIC Japanese teacher (who has very cute children ;P ) said he wanted FIFTEEN whole-page-font-size-12-double-spaced-ESSAYS sitting on his desk come Monday the first day of school.

Aaaaaaaanyway. Before I got carried off, there was a point to that hysterical tirade. I swear. Oh yes, I remember, the point was that since I didn't have the laptop (which has all my picture files on it too, btw, so if he died....hence he was sent to hospital at the last moment) I couldn't post pictures, which I had been bragging on and promising about. I know that sentence didn't make sense, thanks, falarae.

Aaaaaaanyway (randomly in my head: tonikaku in Jap :P ) I had the opportunity to post pictures in the last three days (THE HOLIDAYS ARE OVER T.T), but I didn't because of afore-mentioned Japanese crisis.

Just fyi, the Jap thing didn't work out.... I mean, I suck at WRITING Japanese essays ANYWAY, so doing five in one day.... not possible. (eh, I usually take a week to do even one.....not unexpected ^^';) So... Today is Monday, and Sawaki (sensei, btw) is going to have my head served on a silver platter by my parents (who I told I had done all essays.... I wanted to sleep!! Don't judge me!! T.T). Reason being, my parents will be at me for not doing it by hand (he SPECIFICALLY said for it to be done by computer. Not that I had enough time anyway....), and Sawaki will be at me for not doing it. Like, all of it. He doesn't accept partially done work.... or excuses, no matter how legitimate (but seriously, "the computer crashed/broke!!" has been done so many times it's beaten "dog ate the homework" like the.... I can't think of a good enough analogy. I was gonna say like the hare beat the turtle, but then I realised the TURTLE beat the hare. TONIKAKU!! kidding, kidding, I'm not turning into one of those irritating people who use Japanese words instead of English ones..... but anyway.

Now I will update. And go crazy on the laptop, cos my Dad got a deal with Optus (internet provider) and now we have LOADS of download, and I haven't been on the internet for entertainment in like TWO WEEKS!! (big deal, was going into internet withdrawal. Seriously, I was like "I miss the feel of headphones in my ear...." like you know, that feeling when you know you've had them in too long?) *cough* sorry. I'm slightly sleep deprived (read: HYPER) and had some chocolate too (read: SUGAR HIGHSUBLCNLWEUFN!!!!!!!!!!)

Yeah. So the point of the latest ramble, was to let y'all know, that I will be ignoring deviations and messages for a while (again) in favour of posting my own stuff and clearing out my inbox. Which is filled with "comment reply" things and letters from my friends. And shopping/movie/coffee requests which I will never be able to do now....oh well. I have a camera and packet of m&ms. Life is not so bad....

ps: I'm glad all of you are here to let me spill myself over. As you can tell, I just wrote down whatever popped into my head, in that order. So even if you don't read this, thanks.^^

pps: mwahahaha I finished watching Full Metal Panic recently as well. IT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!! I will save this rant for another day. I need to coherent for this one. ^^'
and here is the link to that Phenomenon amv I was watching. I DON'T LIKE NARUTO. But I think the amv was very skilfully done, well done Sierra-Lorna: [link]
And again ^^': the book I'm reading at the moment may seem REALLY cheesy because of the title, but seriously, the blurb had me hooked, and it's not cheesy. ^^. It's pretty good, actually.

LOL...I couldn't resist...You do need to save that rant for another day...

I didn't like the Immortal Prince, I couldn't get into it (i.e. was bored to death...) But hey, glad you have something good to read. Actually I got another Fiona McIntosh book today. But I'm going to restrain myself and do homework. I swear...

hah I'm glad that nobody spouts chinese randomly. I'm sure I would hate that so much...

And well...this is a long comment, and you probably won't read it for a while (if ever), but that really was a funny rant. So don't be afraid of doing it again, because it's really quite amusing...

=D
